WONDERLAND
Mon 31 Jul - Sat 5 Aug

WONDERLAND

TV and West End star Wendi Peters, much loved for her acclaimed portrayal of Cilla Battersby-Brown in Coronation Street, will headline the UK tour of Wonderland as Queen of Hearts alongside musical theatre favourite Dave Willetts, who has previously starred in tours of South Pacific42nd Street and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, as White Rabbit. West End leading lady and Britain's Got Talent finalist Rachael Wooding will be starring as Alice at all evening performances. The role of Alice at matinee performances is yet to be announced.

Hailed as a ‘hugely uplifting and entertaining show full of laughter, exceptional songs and memorable moments’; 'inspirational' and ‘not to be missed’, Wonderland is a delightful story of love and the power of every day magic in our lives. Alice is a mum reaching a crossroads in her life. With her daughter Ellie and adoring neighbour Jack, she is transported into the enchanting world of Wonderland where she encounters the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Caterpillar, Cheshire Cat and March Hare amongst many other colourful characters who are ruled by the imperious Queen of Hearts. Can Alice save the day and get her family back home to happily ever after?

Following sold out seasons in Tampa, Texas and Tokyo, the multi Grammy and Drama Desk Award nominated Frank Wildhorn’s Wonderland receives its UK and European première in this brand new British production.
