STAGES SUMMER SCHOOL

Prepare for an exciting summer filled with artistic exploration and skill-building! This August, Wolverhampton Grand Theatre and Arena Theatre are thrilled to bring back the highly anticipated STAGES SUMMER SCHOOL, as well as the newly announced PLAY IN A WEEK workshop, offering young enthusiasts the chance to immerse themselves into the world of theatre.

STAGES SUMMER SCHOOL will run from 5-17 August and will allow participants aged 8 to 21 the opportunity to work with industry professionals during the two-week workshop, culminating in a thrilling public performance showcasing the hard work and dedication.

New to this year’s summer school offering is PLAY IN A WEEK. This workshop will offer budding playwrights aged 12 to 18 the opportunity to develop their writing and performance skills. Led by theatre practitioner Fran Richards from 5-9 August, participants will collaborate to improvise, devise and script their own play that will be showcased to friends and family.
