HOSPITALITY & EVENT HIRE
ADD A SENSE OF GRANDEUR TO YOUR EVENTS
The magnificent Grand Theatre, designed by eminent theatre architect Charles J. Phipps, is widely regarded as a jewel in Wolverhampton’s crown. Together with its elegant, versatile, Art Deco style function rooms, the Grand is an impressive and memorable setting for meetings and events.
The Encore Lounge on the Stalls level has played host to a variety of corporate and social events, including workshops, lectures, quiz nights and launch parties. Boasting a bottle bar, four large booths and intimate performance area, the lounge can cater for 50 people seated or up to 100 people for a buffet or networking event.
Named after the first show ever to be performed at the Grand, the Utopia Suite is situated on the Dress Circle level. During the day, the suite lends itself to small meetings, interviews and training sessions, while at night, the suite is ideal for corporate entertaining, providing a sophisticated venue for an intimate drinks reception or private dinner party.
The Utopia Suite hosts 12 people seated or 20 people for a standing drinks reception.
THE SPOTLIGHT LOUNGE
Located on the Grand Circle level, the Spotlight Lounge is a versatile, multi-use room which can be arranged to suit a wide range of events and needs. It has a 65-inch TV screen and it’s ideal for boardroom meetings for up to 18 and presentations for up to 40 people.
The Spotlight Lounge also makes a fabulous setting for more social occasions, such as afternoon teas and networking events.
Depending on availability, the Grand Circle Bar can also be used as a breakout area.
The Grand has welcomed world-renowned names Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Ian McKellen and Marlene Dietrich (to name a few) to its stage and is now available to hire for presentations, award ceremonies and conferences. The Grade II listed auditorium seats almost 1,200 across three tiers and adds a real sense of occasion.
The classic Victorian auditorium is also a stunning period filming location or backdrop for photoshoots.
