Leave a Legacy
If the Grand Theatre has played a special part in your life or the life of a loved one, leaving a gift in your Will is one way to leave a legacy and support the future of our Theatre.
Your solicitor can advise you of the best options available, however gifts will fall into 1 of 3 options:
- Residuary – once you are happy with how much you have left to family and friends, a residual gift to the Theatre is a share of what is left. As it will be a proportion of your estate, it is unlikely you will need to update your Will in the future.
- Pecuniary – this is a specific sum you would like to leave to the Theatre. Therefore, the value to you may increase or decrease depending on how much your remaining assets are worth.
- A specified item – you may wish to leave a specific item in the care of the Theatre. Perhaps a valuable piece of theatre history, or a family heirloom related to the Grand Theatre or Wolverhampton.
