The Cornley Amateur Drama Society returns with tidings of chaos and joy, ready to tackle the Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol. With no hope of a silent night, disaster strikes with hilarious consequences.

CHRISTMAS CAROL GOES WRONG is ‘a Dickensian disaster to savour’ (Guardian), coming to Wolverhampton Grand Theatre this November. Do not miss Dave Hearn as Max, original cast of The Play That Goes Wrong and the BBC comedy series The Goes Wrong Show, returning in 2026 and in the West End. The Cornley crew battle miscommunication, delays to their set, actors missing in action and a growing feud over who will play the lead. It’s sure to be a disastrous take on the much-loved classic Christmas story of Ebenezer Scrooge. Will Cornley finally change their ways, or will their misfortunes wreak havoc yet again.
