Bilston Operatic Company Presents A Christmas Carol The Musical

There’s a place called home… and this Christmas, home will be the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.

Join Ebenezer ‘Scrooge’, Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come, and all the colourful characters of Dickens’ timeless Christmas story.

Faithfully based on Charles Dickens’ much-loved A Christmas Carol. A Christmas story with a message for every season — redemption is possible, second chances are worth taking, and it’s never too late to change your story.

Featuring songs including Lights of Long Ago, A Place Called Home, Link By Link and God Bless Us, Everyone.

With music by legendary composer Alan Menken, whose extraordinary catalogue includes Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, as well as Little Shop of Horrors and Sister Act The Musical. Lyrics are by acclaimed writer Lynn Ahrens, known for Ragtime, Once On This Island and Anastasia. The book is by Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent, the celebrated British theatre director known for Educating Rita, Follies, Me and My Girl, Crazy For You and Big The Musical.

Come remember the lights of long ago, share the moment present, and discover the promise of tomorrow.

Celebrate 100 years of Bilston Operatic and bring Christmas in early — November 2027.
